The "Experience and Perception on Performance of Local Governance" study is implemented in the framework of the project "Assessing corruption levels in Fier and Lushnja municipalities and building capacity of local government and civil society to more effectively interact and co-operate in tackling corruption". The focus of this project is to strengtthen the interaction between local government and civil society by encouraging dialogue and providing means of cooperation in assuring transparency and accountability in local governance and reducing corruption potentials. The Project is implemented in cooperation with the Fier and Lushnja municipalities and it is aimed to achieve two results:
The Urban corruption Perception Survey in Fier and Lushnja municipalities is undertaken in order to better understand the public perception on corruption, services delivered, transparency and experiences of corruption in interacting with the local government.
A total of 1000 face-to-face interviews are conducted in total (with 500 interviews for Fier and Lushnja municipalities respectively).
