The “Freedom of Vote and Family Voting study†was conducted in 2014 by the Institute for Development Research and Alternatives (IDRA) with the technical and financial assistance of the UN Women. It consisted on a national survey of 2000 respondents, of age 18+ years old.
The focus of this project was to strengthen the interaction between local government and civil society by encouraging dialogue and providing means of cooperation in assuring transparency and accountability in local governance and reducing corruption potentials.
This qualitative/ quantitative study aimed at gauging the level of perception of the Impunity phenomenon in Albania, its understanding from the public, the effect different institutions have in the widespread or fight against the phenomenon, as well as the factors (cultural, social, economic) affecting its existence, assess the level of citizens trust in institutions, as well as gauge their performance so far.
This project aimed to design and implement a comprehensive media monitoring project tailored to the Albanian organization’s capacity and the prevailing political environment and to train the Albanian non-governmental organization in media monitoring to establish an indigenous media monitoring capacity in Albania.
This study consisted in the conduction of 320 face-to-face interviews with students of 4 main faculties (faculties of law, economy, social sciences, and natural sciences) as well as 6 focus group discussions with university lecturers of the first year, students, and high school teachers. It was aimed at assessing the quality of the State Matura process.
